About Nekton
We take the busywork out of running product operations.
Nekton builds AI automations for CPG wholesale and retail operations — so the people who run orders, inventory, and freight spend their time deciding, not doing data entry.
Our mission
Operators are the experts, but they lose their days to retyping orders, reconciling spreadsheets, and chasing freight quotes across an inbox. Our mission is to hand that work to AI agents and give operators one place to make the calls that actually need a human.
What we do
Nekton's operating system takes an order the moment it arrives — from a retailer's EDI feed, a buyer's email, or a marketplace — processes it, checks inventory, drafts a replenishment when a projected balance runs negative, and schedules freight. Every step is handled by agents and surfaced as a decision in a single dashboard, from sale to fulfillment. Operators still make the calls; we remove the manual data entry and the analysis behind them.
How we started
Nekton was built from the inside. Our founder was an engineer at a baby-products brand, watching a small team lose hours every day to manual order processing, stockouts that surprised no one, and freight negotiated across endless email threads. With a background in industrial and supply-chain engineering, they started automating the worst of it — and the tools worked well enough that they became Nekton.
